Our Vision
At Healing Rhapsodies Music Therapy, we envision a world where music is a universal language that brings people together and enhances the lives of our clients. Our goal is to provide quality Music Therapy and Neurologic Music Therapy to the residents of Southwest Louisiana.
About Our Founder
Hannah Rogers,MT-BC,NMT
Hannah graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelors Degree in Music Therapy. Upon completing her degree, she interned at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center working with pediatrics, teens, adults, and caregivers. She was also blessed to have been able to work with the Celebration Singers, a choir made up of patients and survivors.
After her internship she began working for Scoggins Therapies and traveled around the Houston area seeing children and adults with special needs in their homes.
In 2012 she moved back to Lake Charles and began working at St. Theodore Holy Family Catholic School in 2013 where she gained more experience with children on the Autism Spectrum.
In 2015 she opened up Healing Rhapsodies Music Therapy, servicing children and adults in the Lake Charles area.
Since opening she has provided Music Therapy services to Individuals and Groups with Neurological Disorders, ABA Clinics, Medically Fragile Pediatric Daycare Centers, Stroke Patients, Children and Adolescents in Mental Health (specifically Trauma related), and Longterm Care Centers/Memory Care.
